Eastern Michigan University Interim Director of Athletics Christian Spears announced today, May 12, he will depart the University after accepting the position of deputy athletic director for external affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. Spears has served as EMU's interim AD since March 27 and will continue to do so until a new interim is named.
