With 15 consecutive semesters of a grade point average better than 3.0, the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics continued its run of outstanding performance in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year. The Eagles posted a 3.173 grade point average (GPA) during the winter semester, the sixth-highest mark on record.
