Eastern Michigan University President James M. Smith has named Mississippi State University Deputy Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee (pronounced WEATHER-bee) as Eastern Michigan University Vice President and Director of Athletics. A native of Kalamzoo, Mich., Wetherbee's official start date will be announced in the coming weeks.
